surf
Having started surfing at the age of 24, I understand because I have been through it, how insurmountable learning to surf can seem for an adult who has never touched a board in his life. But I'm a proof that with motivation and using the right tools, this is quite doable. Together, we will see (or review) the basics of surfing (essential theory), in order to better understand and interact with our board and with our environment.

With many illusions create Nalu Souls. The first objective being to help all those people who are passionate about surfing and who want to improve as much as possible and as soon as possible, regardless of age. I am living proof that with motivation and dedication it is totally feasible. Traveling the world giving classes, I was polishing my vision on teaching surfing. I believe that knowledge is the basis of progression and good sense; If you understand what is happening around you and the "why" of everything, you will be able to progress more quickly. Obviously knowledge does not do everything, practice goes hand in hand. However, there are ways to practice out of the water as well to automate certain movements, prepare your body and mind. With Nalu Souls I want to bring these aspects of learning that can (and should) be implemented out of the water, in order to progress faster and more safely.

What they say about me
When I asked Pauline to help me improve my take-off, I felt a real desire to help and a great ability to explain things simply. Since I've had access to the videos/files, I've understood a lot of things that you don't have time to understand when you're on the water! Practice is good, but so is theory. I find his explanations and advice very clear and relevant. I can't wait to get in the water and put into practice everything I've just understood!
Pauline transmits great energy and you can feel her willingness to help you go beyond your limits and progress once you're in the water!
Happy surfing 🙂
Delphine Puertolas
Pauline is a strong, energetic and warrior woman! When you are in class with her, she gives you her love for the ocean, her passion for the sport and it’s contagious. She is a very methodical person, well prepared and so her lessons are very profitable! She is always focused and constantly looking to help her students. In each class that I have been able to have with her, my progress has been impressive because she doesn’t let you surrender, she is demanding but at the same time she motivates you if she sees that you are failing on something so that you don’t block yourself. Always a pleasure to find her! A strong and luminous woman!
Patricia Bustos
In my case I only had the opportunity to have Pauline as my surf instructor once, in San Vicente. It was a horrible wave day, but that didn't stop her from teaching me tips to improve my surf, both out and in the water! When you're with people who love surfing like Pauline, it's impossible not to fall in love with the sport.

This platform is for everybody passionate about surfing or who want to start surfing, and want to improve as much as possible, regardless of age and where they live. For the moment it is dedicated to beginners and intermediates.
Not at all! You will be able to find detailed videos that explain what is surfing, the learning process and many other things that will be useful when you’ll finally go surfing. I recommend you to take some lessons the first days, to have live coaching, but also for your own safety and safety of others.
No. This website will not make you surf without practice. I do not intend to teach surfing online or remotely. However, what I can do is give you the knowledge so that you understand what happens around you when you are surfing and the “why” of everything so that you can progress more quickly. There are also ways to practice out of the water to automate certain movements, prepare your body and mind. With Nalu Souls, I wanted to provide those parts of learning that can (and should) be worked on out of the water, whether they are theoretical knowledge or physical exercises, and will make your surf sessions much more efficient.
If we make the analogy with football, for example, athletes train on the field, but also, they take strategy, theory courses, etc., and work on their body (stretching, physiotherapy, nutrition…). It is this set of things that makes the athlete improve. With surfing it is exactly the same; to improve, it will be necessary to practice a lot, but also to take care of your body, study the theory, the functioning of the ocean, ... It’s the objective of Nalu Souls, providing the maximum information on surfing, and more very soon.
The adventure is only beginning. We are revamping Nalu Souls to return with more content, journeys and surprises! The list of collaborators will also grow, so more themes will be implemented than those currently available, such as "yoga and surf", "apnea and surf"... You're going to love it!
At Nalu Souls, we host our premium videos on a third-party website called Vimeo.
Unfortunately, in some countries (Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and China to name a few), Vimeo is blocked and restricted. If you're in one of these countries, you may see a blank area where a video should appear.
If the videos don't load, make sure you accept cookies. If the problem persists, one solution would be to use a VPN.
What is a VPN?
A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, allows you to create a secure connection to another network over the Internet. VPNs can be used to access regionally restricted websites, protect your browsing activity from prying eyes on public Wi-Fi networks, and much more. Basically, VPNs forward all network traffic to the destination network, hence its advantages, such as accessing local network resources remotely and bypassing Internet censorship. Most operating systems are compatible with VPNs.
How can I get a VPN?
First of all, there is the free option, which is quick and easy. Just use an extension for Google Chrome called Betternet Unlimited Free VPN Proxy. After installing it in Google Chrome, a shield icon will appear in the top right corner of Google Chrome. Click on the shield and then click "Connect". You should now be able to watch the videos.
If you don't use Google Chrome, there should be similar extensions/add-ons for all browsers, but I can't recommend any here.
If you're looking for a little more control, there are also many premium options that give you more features, one of which is the ability to choose the locations to connect to. Of course, this is good because the Internet speed will be higher if you can connect to a nearby place. We've only had experience with one particular premium VPN service called PureVPN but they all pretty much do the same thing… they give you more privacy and security when you use the internet.
If you want to view the tutorials on a mobile device (iPhone, iPad, etc.), you can also do so with PureVPN. They have an app for iOS and Android which makes it very easy to set up.
Of course, if you have any problems, feel free to email us and we will be happy to help you.
